MANHATTAN FARMS SEEDS
This envelope contains 5 seed packages, one of each variety pictured and a pamphlet about this vegetable collection. The box also contains a 32 page "Short Course in City Gardening" booklet.
Pimento This very sweet, thick-fleshed pepper is where we get the little red bits in stuffed olives. Pimento is even better in salads and sauces. The heart shaped pimento is a wonderful sweet pepper.
Sweet Banana This thin walled flavourful pepper is one of the sweet varieties. It is excellent fresh or pickled.
Anaheim The Anaheim pepper is slightly piquant. When green it is great for chile rellenos, when fully ripe it can be dried for chile powder.
Jalapeno This is a favourite of hot pepper lovers everywhere. Its fiery flavour is great in salsa and other dishes.
Serrano
Smaller and hotter than the jalapeno, this pepper is wonderful in all your spicy dishes.
