This envelope contains 5 seed packages, one of each variety pictured and a pamphlet about this herb collection. The box also contains a 32 page "Short Course in City Gardening" booklet.
Sorrel Sometimes called sour grass, this hardy perennial has a sharp, sour lemony flavour that is good in soups and sauces. Use a 6” pot per plant.
Sage It is said to be grown in every European village, this pungent herb is said to prolong life. In its first year you will need a 5” pot per plant.
Dill This annual herb's feathery leaves will grow well indoors. If you plan to harvest seed however, you will need to move the plant outdoors. Use a least a 5” pot per plant.
Lovage This herd is prized for its celery like flavour. By its second birthday this perennial will have outgrown any indoor home and may reach 4 to 7 feet in height. Use a 10” pot per plant in the first year.
Corn Poppy
This beautiful red flower is edible and ill provide seeds for you to use in salad dressings and baking. Grow about 18” tall. Use a container a least 8” deep.
