MANHATTAN FARMS SEEDS
This envelope contains 5 seed packages, one of each variety pictured and a pamphlet about this flower collection. The box also contains a 32 page "Short Course in City Gardening" booklet.
Love-Lies-Bleeding Love-lies-bleeding is a tender annual. A tropical native does best in warm, moist sunny conditions. It is day length sensitive and blooms best when days are about 12 hours long. It grows to 3 feet in height. A 10” container will accommodate 1 plant.
Strawflower The strawflower is native to Australia and is a half hardy annual. The lovely warm coloured flowers are synonymous with the word everlasting. Their heavily branched thick-stemmed plants are profuse bloomers. They grow to be up to 4 feet tall. A 10” container will accommodate 2 plants.
Statice Statice is a half-hardy plant that will bloom from July through to frost. It has a wide range of bright colours that are not found with other everlastings. Grows to 24” tall. A 10” container will accommodate 3 plants.
Lunaria Lunaria is a European native common throughout the world as both a fragrant garden flower and an excellent everlasting. It is known as money plant, honesty, silver dollar, moonwort, Pope's money and satin flower. They grow to be 3 feet tall. A 10” container will accommodate 1 plant.
Love-In-A-Mist
Love-in-a-mist is native to the Mediterranean area and gets its name from the delicate like bracts and foliage that surround the flower. It grows to be 20” tall. An 8” container will accommodate 2 plants.
